# Leantime Effort KPIs

Understand team utilization, scheduled capacity, and billable versus non-billable hours from Leantime timesheets.

## 1. Before installation

Compatible Leantime timesheets/schema and user schedules. Host Docker/Python 3 and the correct container; back up database, plugin and licence state.

1. Record the platform/application version and select its matched release.
2. Back up configuration, application data and persistent storage; verify how to restore them.
3. Read the included installer and release notes. Use a new extraction directory, preserve existing data and arrange a maintenance window.
4. Obtain the package from IT Supportex and verify its published checksum when supplied. Do not paste licence keys or passwords into a support ticket.

## 2. Install or upgrade

These are server/application plugins, not WordPress plugins. Commands below apply only to the named release and environment.

Run CWP and Proxmox commands as root on the intended target. For Leantime, run the bundled installer from its extracted directory on the Docker host and replace the container placeholder. Confirm filenames exist before executing.

## 3. Configure and verify

After restart/hard refresh, select a date range, company/department/project and compare recorded hours with known timesheets. Check scheduled capacity, holidays/time off/time in lieu, billable classification and outside-schedule charts before using metrics for business decisions. Confirm role access.

## 4. Upgrade and recovery

Retain database/plugin backups and existing licence state. If figures differ, first inspect timesheet filters and schedule configuration. Restore a compatible previous plugin if necessary; preserve recorded effort.
