Leantime Business OKRs

Connect objectives and key results to the projects delivering them in Leantime.

Reviewed release: 0.1.15.24-pm

1. Before installation

Compatible Leantime Docker deployment, host Docker/Python 3, correct app container, database backup and persistent plugin/volume backups. Reviewed installer uses Kpis as the internal plugin directory.

  1. Record the platform/application version and select its matched release.
  2. Back up configuration, application data and persistent storage; verify how to restore them.
  3. Read the included installer and release notes. Use a new extraction directory, preserve existing data and arrange a maintenance window.
  4. Obtain the package from IT Supportex and verify its published checksum when supplied. Do not paste licence keys or passwords into a support ticket.

2. Install or upgrade

These are server/application plugins, not WordPress plugins. Commands below apply only to the named release and environment.

Run CWP and Proxmox commands as root on the intended target. For Leantime, run the bundled installer from its extracted directory on the Docker host and replace the container placeholder. Confirm filenames exist before executing.

3. Configure and verify

Inspect installer cleanup scope before running: it replaces Kpis/Okrs-related folders and creates backups. After restart, refresh and check Business OKRs. Create a test objective, add a key result, attach a project, save and reopen. Confirm edit/delete prompts and access for intended user roles. Review existing trial/licence state before distributing.

4. Upgrade and recovery

Save database, plugin directory, .val state and affected menu/custom assets before upgrade. Keep Docker volume changes persistent. Restore a compatible plugin/database backup if migration or registration fails; do not delete business records as a troubleshooting step.
