CWP Cluster Server

Coordinate CWP hosting accounts and mail across servers with account-specific synchronization and controlled failover.

Reviewed release: 0.7.0

1. Before installation

CWP, Python 3, systemd, and authorized SSH access between the selected nodes. Use the configured SSH port; reviewed deployment uses 53535. Install the controller on the intended local destination.

  1. Record the platform/application version and select its matched release.
  2. Back up configuration, application data and persistent storage; verify how to restore them.
  3. Read the included installer and release notes. Use a new extraction directory, preserve existing data and arrange a maintenance window.
  4. Obtain the package from IT Supportex and verify its published checksum when supplied. Do not paste licence keys or passwords into a support ticket.

2. Install or upgrade

These are server/application plugins, not WordPress plugins. Commands below apply only to the named release and environment.

bash install.sh

Run CWP and Proxmox commands as root on the intended target. For Leantime, run the bundled installer from its extracted directory on the Docker host and replace the container placeholder. Confirm filenames exist before executing.

3. Configure and verify

Confirm installer compatibility, startup self-test, daemon API, node inventory, dashboard and CWP service-user API checks all pass. Add nodes, scan both, assign authority/replica per account and select components. Run a staging test for one account, inspect the report, and validate mailbox and database results before a reviewed live synchronization. Keep one writer per account/mailbox.

4. Upgrade and recovery

Retain cluster secrets/configuration and staging/backups. Do not uninstall the old release before an upgrade. Restore the previous release and compatible configuration only after reviewing the failed run; do not reverse authority while both sides may write.
